Pricing

The way that I handle the pictures after shooting them is different than most photographers'. I have a single set made of the prints and give the customer that set as well as cd(s) with JPEGs of all pictures. This way, the customer is free to get reprints and enlargements on their own without the hassle of being confined to a certain number of prints in various sizes. This method applies to weddings, portraits, and other events.

For large events, I do not charge by the hour because I want to experience everything there is to photograph without the customer feeling pressed for time. When I photograph a wedding or other large event, I stay from the beginning to the end and use a second photographer/ assistant in order to capture as much of the event as possible. Because of this, I charge a flat rate of $900.00 in most circumstances.

For weddings more than thirty miles away from the Alabaster area, there will be a mileage fee. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

For portraits (children, families, seniors, groups, etc) and other jobs that do not fit into the large event realm, I charge $150.00 an hour, with a 1-hour minimum.

I am also able to provide hand-coloring and color tinting (black & white, sepia, etc.) services for an additional charge, which can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
